A passion for baking turned into a business...
After baking for multiple friends’ wedding dessert bars Nichol, Renee and Andrea had this crazy idea… Why don’t we do this as a business? And just like that, Gimme a Dozen was born. Interesting name, right? We thought so too! The name comes from Nichol’s dad, who if you know him is quite a character. If you ask him if he likes something and he does, his standard answer is, “gimme a dozen!” (Imagine an Italian accent…) We loved the saying, plus we sell everything by, you guessed it, the dozen!
Our wedding and event planning experience combines perfectly with our love of baking. We know what brides, moms and party hosts both want and need to make their events successful. We use quality ingredients and put our hearts and souls into our baking. Rest assured, we are perfectionists and want your dessert bar to be delicious both to eat and look at.
Our recipes are tried and true. They are a collection of what has been proven to be crowd pleasers at events. We are always working to expand our offerings, so please check back for updated menus periodically. We also welcome special requests and will do everything we can to accommodate those requests.
